You are loved.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He gives you peace, hope, joy, love, healing, and salvation. Jesus is the answer. Jesus is the answer to your addictions. Jesus is the one to take away from anger, hatred, hopelessness, and fear. Jesus is the door. Jesus is the door to life. John 14:6 ” I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but it by Me. ”

Father God loves you, He loves us with a pure love. Romans 5:8 ” But God demonstrated His love towards us that while we were sinners Christ died for us. ” Jesus never would have died and rose again on the third day. He never would have lived to die for a world that rejected Him if He didn’t love the world. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. “

Choose Jesus! Now is the time to run to God like the prodigal son ran to his father and his father welcomed him with open arms. The Heavenly Father will do the same, just come to yourself, know where you are at and know how much you need Jesus. We all do. Go to him, say His name, Jesus.

Yes, say Jesus, I am not in a good place right now. I can’t do this myself. Please God, forgive me of my sins that separates me from You. Jesus come into my heart, make me new, make me and mold me in Your image. I want to be who You created me to be. Lord Jesus, I make you my Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus for being my Lord and Savior and giving me eternal life. Help me to live and live a life that will glorify You, in Jesus name. Amen!

If you meant that prayer, If you really meant that prayer in your heart, you are a new creation in Christ. Get in the Word of God. Pray to the Lord God, He wants to hear from you and Jesus will never ever leave you, not forsake you. God is not mankind, we let each other down all the time but He doesnt. God is for us!

Romans 8:31 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? “

You are loved.

God bless!

Do Not Be Overcome

There is a lot that has happened these past few weeks. There is a lot I can say but without God or His word, what difference would it make and for how long? I have a word for you, a word of encouragement, and I only hope that you listen all the way through because I felt led to read and share this chapter in Romans. It is so timely and a great reminder of how we should treat one another. I pray that it gives you something to think about and encourages you to read Romans 12 (actually, the whole bible, period😄)

Romans 12:21 “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

That’s hard, if not impossible, to do without the Holy Spirit. There are things that happened during these few weeks (globally and personally) that really made me think about the church ( we need help y’all), people and about myself too. There was some mindsets that God revealed in me that needed to be given to Him in order for Him to work in me and through me. He is still working! But God revealed this to many others as well, mindsets that needs to be demolished. If there are not worked on or worked out, God can’t give you what you ask for because your not ready to receive it. Or you can’t trusted with specific blessings because you have hatred, or prejudice, or unforgiveness (etc) in your heart.

That’s why it is important for us read the Word and see what did God say about this current issue, for example, of injustice? How are we to meet this problem in our world today? It’s in the bible! How do we ask God to change it? It’s in the bible! How can we change ourselves? We can’t, only God can change the hearts of man but we can change our minds by repenting of our sins!  Acknowledging, we are sinners in need of the Lord and Savior, Jesus! Furthermore, actually reading, meditating and proclaiming scriptures over your life, the lives of others, your city and your state and your country. We need Jesus. We need His strength. We need Word, now more than ever before.

When the world is growing darker, we must be the light that grows ever brighter!

Help us Jesus. Help us be the light that we need to be. Help us, Holy Spirit, not to be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good. Help us, the body of Christ not just claim Jesus but walk like Him, with the help of your Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen!

God bless you and God loves you!

Make Us Ready Lord Jesus

Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

What is blocking your blessing? What do you think that is in your heart that could be keeping you from God’s best for you? We always have to examine ourselves. We always have to ask the LORD God what we need to do to draw near to God (e.g. Read the Word). We need to be attentive to what He wants us to know. We need to be willing surrender ourselves to His Will. That way we can hear from Him clearly and He can work in our hearts.

There is revival coming but there must be personal revival (in us) and then corporate revival, a mass revival among us in the world and we are on the edge of it!!! We need to allow the Lord to work in us so He can work through us and we can be a blessing to others ! So, ask God, examine me and if there is anything that does not represent you Jesus Lord, then blot it out of my heart and cleanse me from the inside out in Jesus name!

God bless you and God loves you!

Are you going to heaven?

Philippines 2:12 “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and do for His good pleasure .”

One word comes to mind: Surrender. Surrender to Jesus. Surrender the pain. Surrender the anger. Surrender the assumptions. Surrender the trauma…to Jesus Christ. Let go of it and let God transform your heart. Stop playing with your salvation by turning your hearts back to your idols (e.g. alcohol, drugs, pornography, lies, envy, gossip, adultery, sexual immorality), your Egypt, like the Israelites did when they were in their wilderness. You may be in the wilderness but that doesn’t mean you have to stay there.

Repent of your sins. Change your mind. Ask the Lord Jesus to be your own personal Lord and Savior, turn away from your sins! Take the old man off and put on the new man. Turn your hearts back to God.

Ephesians 4:22 “that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. ”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Whatever is holding you back from fully giving your life to God, please remove that from your life, ask God to help you and take your faith in Christ seriously. And if you never knew Him, now is the time to make the effort to get to know who He is and that He is for you. He loves you very much.

God bless you!

God is for you!

Romans 8:31-31″What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, How shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”

Are we looking for peace? Are we looking for joy? Are we looking for hope? Are we looking for purpose? Jesus will give them to us, and more, eternal life. Romans 5:8 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord.”

Believe in Jesus Christ and make Him your own personal Lord and Savior. He will never let you down. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him and He will lead you to your purpose, His Will. Yes, there will be pain but it’s purposeful. There is purpose in your pain , just look at Jesus and what He went through on the cross,  just so we can live with Him and be like Him. Thank you Jesus!

Don’t give up! Jesus loves you! You have purpose.

God bless!

How is your walk?

Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentlenes, self control. Against such there is no law.”

Why is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), faithfulness, goodness, gentleness, and self control so important to exhibit to others (inside and outside the church) but also to have on the inside? Well, these Godly characteristics are the evidence that you do have the Holy Spirit and when you walk in the Spirit you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:16-17 “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so you do not do the things you wish.”

Walking in the Spirit is proof or really, good fruit, that you are growing in the God and characteristics of God, for the Lord Jesus abides in us because Him and His Word abides in us and we in Him.

John 15:3-4 “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me,”

God wants us to look like His Son, Jesus! As Christians but also as children of God, we are called to be more like His Son, Jesus Christ and to be led by His Holy Spirit. Fruits of the Spirit is evidence that we are becoming like Jesus if we walk in His Holy Spirit and not in our flesh which is the opposite of God (in opposition) and sinful in nature.

Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication, uncleaness, lewedness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambition, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelies, and the like, of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. “

By walking in the Spirit, our flesh is weakened and our spirit is one with God’s Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not quenched. As we know sin quenches the Spirit and we start to look, act, sound and even think more carnal. We start to move away from our Lord and move towards the world. Not good! How can we stay consistent in this walk? Reading and meditating on the Word of God, prayer, sharing the Gospel and our faith to others, fasting and having fellowship with faithfilled believers in Jesus Christ!

As we continue to be faithful in our walk, we can guarantee that we would look more like Jesus to the world. And to those who are lost and in need of the truth of Jesus Christ, will come and see the light, and we can share the love of Christ to a dying and dark world. How awesome is that? Pretty awesome!

God bless you and God loves you, always!

“Run Your Race Won” (poem)

Run, into the

Father’s arms.

Run, away from

World trapped charms.

Run, in lasting

Courage, not discouraged.

Run, chasing the

Will of the Father.

Run, swift as

A gazelle.

Run, race from the

the darkness hell.

Run, in the

beauty of holiness.

Run, your race

1 Corinthians 9:24 “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.”

“He’s Our Friend ” (poem)

Oh child, I have never left.

I am by your side,

Please don’t forget, I pick

you up,

I am your friend.

My love, don’t you see

That you were meant to be,

Follow Me and you

Will find peace,

Take My hand,

I’ll show you My plans

I pick you up,

I am your friend.

I feel your pain

I know your hurt

That’s what I died for

That’s what I rose for.

Don’t you get it now?

I left, and came back

So, you can live. I pick you up –

I am your friend.

Jesus, Jesus Jesus

He loves me, you, we, us –

He’s our friend.

John 15:13-14 “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down ones life for his friends. You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.”

What are you hungry for?

Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are thofwho hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.”

What you filling yourself with today? Is it the news? Is it netflix? I guess the right question would be, what are you hungry for? Peace. Joy. Hope. Love. I believe now more than ever our hearts are calling out to them all. I believe we hunger and thirst for something good to happen but something good did happen, 2000 years ago.

Isaiah 53:5-6 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our inquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”

Jesus Christ was and is His name! He knew where you were going to be at this season. He knew your sins, your struggles and your weaknesses.  Yet, He still loves us. He died for us on the cross. He was stripped, beaten, betrayed and humiliated.

Yet, you were on His mind. He wanted us to have freedom from sin. Freedom from fear. Freedom from oppression. Freedom from sickness and disease. Freedom from death. He did this all for us because He loves us and wants us to be free in Him. So no matter what comes our way we know our peace, joy, hope and love comes from Him. It is finished and He is risen! The blood of Jesus is on us, over us, beside us and all around us to protect us from all evil and cleanse is from all our sins only if we repent and make Lord Jesus Christ our personal Lord and Savior.

It wasn’t good how it happened to the Lord Jesus but it was good that it happened because where would we be without Him? Where would we be without Jesus? No where good. So, what are you hungry for? I know my heart is hungry for all He has given us because of His ultimate sacrifice for us to receive Peace. Joy. Hope. Love. Salvation.

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

God bless you!
