Wind ( A Matter of The Heart)

Why do you do that; walk away from the very thing that gives you life? Stop. You ask me how do I know that God exists? How do I know that he is? Take a deep breath and exhale. Again.

Did you see that? Did you see what happened? You’re saying, see what? When you took a deep breath, oxygen entered into your lungs and when you exhaled, it escaped your lungs. You do that all the time, you breathe, without even noticing it. That oxygen that you can not see, gives you life. If you were to hold your breath then oxygen would deplete from your body and you can guess what could happen next if you don’t take that breath. This oxygen you couldn’t see, the very thing that you can’t touch and many other ingredients that we need to have life on this planet, we can’t see, nor taste or touch. Did you ever think about that? Did you ever think about the very things that all things, including ourselves, we rely on these very things we can’t see or touch or taste. The things that the human eye can’t see or feel holding, the little things that maybe even a microscope can’t fathom in seeing. Those things matter, yet we can’t see them or touch them or taste them. Did you ever think that maybe God placed these invisible things, material, matter, just for us to see that just because we can’t see them doesn’t mean it isn’t there. It doesn’t mean that we don’t need it, it doesn’t mean that it is not important to us. Well, I’m going to tell you something, they are. God created them for us to know that it isn’t the sight of them that we need to know that their there or to touch that their there but it is there and it does work and it does give life. Oxygen, Nitrogen and many of gen’s we rely on. Okay, let me give you the wind, who needs the wind ? Oh you be surprised that without wind, we would be in a tough situation.

I am going to name one thing that wind can do among many others, okay two things I will name wind can do. It can spread seeds, every seed, any seed and place them at a spot that was meant just for that seed to become whatever it was meant to become, a flower, plant base food group, or even a tree. Also, not to mention, we know now because of our technology, that wind can help us with energy, who knew! I am not going to talk about the necessity of wind but the wonder of it. When you feel wind, you can’t see it nor can you taste it but you can feel it. You can feel it when it flies past you through your hair and whistle’s playfully in your ear. You can even feel it between your fingers. So, we know that it exists, we know what it can do. It can show such a might that nothing on this earth can be compared to it. It can bring such a blow that it can knock someone off their feet; that where waves of the ocean can be moved, that trees can be uprooted and house tops practically gone. It can be a force. However, wind can, yet very strong, be tender. It can be so tender in those moments where it is the hottest in the heated summer but then a sweet cold breeze comes along and grazes your cheek almost as if it is so to say, “It is okay. I’m here.” The wind with such force of nature, such awesomeness, yet sweet, and tender and lovely and wonderful.

You can’t see the wind, you can’t taste it either but you can feel it and when you do it gives a feeling that nothing in this world can be compared to. God created that wind, matter of fact, sometimes I think he is in the wind. Mostly I think he is that soft sweet cold breeze that grazes your cheek and goes between your fingers almost as if to say, “I’m here and I’m with you.” Now you can go on to say I’m crazy and conjure up some scientific analysis on how wind is “created” or “there”. Show me all these things and speak to me with wordy vocabulary. You can even laugh at me, go ahead, laugh. I’m laughing with you. You know why? Because I know that I walk by faith, not by sight. Don’t you think if man were to just disbelieve in these things he couldn’t see, how dangerous it would be for him? If someone were to just say there is no such thing as oxygen or the wind or any of other life organism that we can’t see. How that would be, how dangerous it would be and for people to actually believe it to the point where they would hold their very breath? Just so they can prove to others that oxygen doesn’t exist? Oh yes, I would be laughing and crying at the same time. Laughing at the arrogance of the acts and crying at the damage it has done and will do. Stop. Stare. Think about this for a minute. Release your theories to the wind and just feel truth for God is truth, love, mercy, peace, hope, faith, purity, and did I say love? Oh yes, love and more love. He loves you. He loves me. He gave his Son, Jesus to die for the world, us, and was resurrected on the third day. So we too can die in the flesh but be resurrected in life, in God. He gives his love to all but when are you going stop holding your breath? When are you going to stop denying what Jesus Lord has done for you? I think the time is now. Now.
