Hope Of Glory

Working as a nanny with two children both under the age of 5, has helped me to come to a deep revelation about what it really means to have faith like a child.

Matthew 18:3 (AMP)

Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].

Have you ever tried to tell a child something that may be different to what their mum or dad may have told them ? Have you ever tried to convince a child to do/not to do something contrary to what has previously been said by their parents ? Whether it be whether santa claus is real, or whether or not wearing ballet shoes to nursery is acceptable ! There is no getting through to them. They may in the end obey your request, but always with much reluctance followed by the response, ‘But…
