As milk and honey (poem)

Here I pitch my tent

In the wilderness

The rivers of ground

Dry, running through my fingers.

I hear the wind, she sings

High, caressing my face

Kissing my eyes.

Oh God, are there rivers

Wet, to moist the dry ground?

I hear something above the winds,

Waters flowing, there is no end.

Living, life, sweet

As milk and honey.

Carry me God

To the rivers, Then

I can build my

House on the rock

Thus it shall stand

On the rock near

Living waters.

Just now, I lift my tent,

Strength of God is mine.

I walk to the sounds

Rivers flowing

Living, life, sweet

As milk and honey.

Quote and Scripture of the Day

“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and we hear the sound thereof, but cannot tell where it cometh, nor whither it goeth. Now till the Spirit of God is felt on our souls as the wind on our bodies, indeed, my dear brethren, you have no interest in him: religion consists not in external performance, it must be in the heart, or else it is only a name”.

~ George Whitefield

John 3:8 “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit”.

Keep God first place in your life, in your heart. Don’t be angry. Don’t hold a grudge. Don’t take the time to debate people you don’t know. Just show the Holy Spirit. Give what everyone longs for. God, even when they don’t know it. Give them love. God is love (1 John 4:8 “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love”). Show kindness. Respect all people. Love. That is what the world need more of. Test the spirits. Read the bible. Talk to God. Love all and forgive.

God bless you and God loves you!

God is on the move

This year has been a time of uncertainty, with trials, test and issues of life. For me, this year has been all of the above. I haven’t been perfect, nor will we be on this earth. However, even with all the tests, the trials, and issues of life that happen throughout this age. No matter how hard it can get. How easy it is for us to forget about all the good that’s happen and to only remember the bad and the ugly. There is hope. There is strength. There is mercy. There is forgiveness. There is LOVE. All these good and wonderful things are found in one person, complete and pure, untarnished and holy: Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, King of Kings and Lord of Lords forever and ever.

Whatever is held you back from God’s best this year, don’t let it the year coming. If it be bitterness, let it go and Let God. If it be unforgiveness, let it go, forgive and Let God. If it be anger, let it go and Let God. The word says that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”). When the New Year comes along, don’t forget all the many blessings that God has blessed you with. Though the world around us have been in disarray. God is still on the throne. He is good, always. Though we go through tests and trials. God has the strength and power to get us through. He loves us so much. More than we can possibly comprehend.

Thus let go of the world and all of its problems and grab hold to Jesus Christ. He is the answer to all. When the world let you down and disappoint you, which it always will. God will lift you up. Provide for you as He has always done the years before and he won’t stop. God never changes. He stays the same, forever. So we know that we can always look to him. We can always trust in him. We can always rely on him for all things. Yes, seek the Kingdom of God first and all thing will be added unto us. When uncertainty is amidst in the world. In our faith, there is certainty in Jesus Christ.  We know who He is and we know He is returning soon. Until then, we should always watch and as well as pray. Love others as we love ourselves and keep our eyes and mind on Jesus of Nazareth.

God bless you and God loves you!

Happy New Year!

Pure Religion

James 1:17 “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

The scripture here is pretty understandable. It says what it means and it means what it says. It says that if we should have religion, it shouldn’t come from man’s imperfect doctrine but should align with the word of God, who (God) is perfect. This is what God calls us to do (the church), to visit the fatherless in their affliction. Those who do not have fathers, those who do not have shelter, those who do not have a place that they can be safe. To enter into those spaces and places where many, even to some Christians are not considered worthy to visit or safe to go. It is those places that need to see the light of Jesus Christ. Who is going to show them that right way, truth and life unless we, as Christians, show them which way they should go by telling them the PURE Gospel of Jesus Christ?

This scripture also says that we should visit the widows in their affliction. Those who have lost their significant other, lost those who they cherished and now are depressed, those who they loved and now feel lost, those who may have forgotten the goodness of God in their times of affliction. As Christians, we need to remind them that God is good, even though we may not always understand but through our limited understanding we KNOW (in heart) that we can trust God in all things. No matter what the world throws at us, we can remind those who may feel lonely that God has never left them nor forsook them. He loves them and he adores them, and wants them to LOVE and live an abundant life in HIM.

Then it goes on to say that we are to be unspotted from the world. What does that mean, unspotted? What do you see the world doing exactly? Not walking in the spirit but living according to the flesh. Having nothing to do with God or His word. Doing the exact opposite of what God wants us to do as children of God. What are the works of the flesh? Well, it says in Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the world of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanliness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, revellings and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in the time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”  I suggest you look up each word by their definition if you do not completely understand what they mean.

These are considered the works of the flesh and SUCH like these works of the flesh the WORLD does, day and night. Thus, he calls us (the church) out of the world (to be unspotted, to be clean). To become separate from these works of the flesh and for us, now as children of God, to become heirs with Christ Jesus who had and has the fruit of the Spirit. The same God calls us to live like Jesus Christ, to obtain the SAME fruits of the Spirit, to live by them, to practice them, day and night. What are the fruits of the Spirit? The bible says further in Galatians 5:22-24 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Yes, we have! We have crucified the affections and the lusts of the world once we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and lived according to His word. We see every single day on the News, on TV, in the movies, on shows, in the tabloids. These lusts and affections are everywhere but GREATER IS HE that is in US (the church) than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

I believe this is what the Lord means to keep unspotted (clean, righteous) from the world. There are important things he calls us to do in this ONE scripture. To do works which as we know can’t redeem us for we are not saved by our works but by the grace of God AND to be clean (unspotted) which is to live and walk in the fruits of the Spirit. He calls us to visit the fatherless and widows in their times of afflictions, to have love, compassion and mercy as Jesus had love, compassion and mercy but also to live by faith by separating ourselves from the world by doing and living in the fruits of the Spirit. To be unspotted, to be clean and to live as Christ Jesus lived on earth. Thus, we should ask ourselves are we living according to the flesh or keeping ourselves unspotted from the world? Are we living and walking in the Spirit or are we walking and living in the ways of the world? As we should know God wants every area of our lives. He doesn’t want just some of us but ALL of us. If you have done these things without repenting, then repent and ask for the Father’s forgiveness and start living according to the word of God. Right now because the time is now. Give no thought to the former things but recognize the many blessings that are ahead once we give all to Him and obey Him.

I hope this post edified you some way, God bless you and God loves you.

Give Thanks Unto The Lord

Hello blessed people,

I just wanted to wish you a beautiful, lovely and blessed thanksgiving! Yes, today we may fill ourselves with food but that is perishable. Let’s never forget that we should always fill ourselves with the Lord God, with his Word that is everlasting! Yes, fill yourself with the goodness of God and what he brought you out and brought you in to. The doors he opened but also the doors he closed. The times he hid you in his bosom and the times he placed you and raised you up by His Hands. The times that you felt weak but HE gave you strength! Thank God, the Lord of Lord’s and King of Kings! He is to be glorified and praised forever! Amen!

Psalm 34:8 ” O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Psalm 136:1 “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Psalm 107: 6-8 “Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

Give Thanks Unto The Lord, for HE IS WORTHY to be PRAISED!

God bless you and God loves you!

Set an Example

Yes the world is in darkness but YOU are of the light. John 8:12 ” Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” Peace be with you in the Lord Jesus Christ!

God bless!

God is always good

Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” God is always good, no matter what. Regardless of what man does or does not do, we do not look to man to “fix” anything. As children of God, we look to GOD only, our Lord Jesus Christ, to not only fix us on the inside but cleanse us, guide us, restore us and LOVE us. We as a people need to show others how to do the same thing. We need to show respect, love and guidance, knowing fair well that without God, without Jesus, we can do nothing. We are all imperfect and in need of Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Pray for America. Do not lose hope. Do not think that if we just let troubling things fall into the hands of man everything is going to be okay now. We need God. God is the only one to clean up this nation. Only God can do this, not man, never man. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

God bless you and God loves you all!
